Barbour International's Stylish September

The month of September is a busy one for Barbour International's Heritage store located in Foubert's Place off Carnaby Street in London. With the store as its base the brand famous for great outdoor apparel will be participating in two great fashion industry events. Not only is Barbour International taking part in Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, but only a week later they will be participating in Carnaby Catwalk along with other local fashion businesses. Despite the age of the brand Barbour jackets are currently hotter than ever and the brand is capitalizing on their popularity with recent exclusive collaborations and by participating in high profile events like those they have scheduled for September 2010.

The first Vogue Fashion's Night Out, which was held in 2009, was the biggest shopping event in history and 2010 promises to be an even bigger spectacle. Taking place in sixteen different countries, with the kickoff in France on September 7th, the event will hit London on Wednesday, September 8th when 200 high end stores across the city will keep their doors open until 11pm. Barbour International is one of the high street chains participating and the Fashion's Night Out event will give shoppers a chance to peruse the brand's new Autumn/Winter 2010 lines including vintage pieces and memorabilia from Barbour International's vast archives.

If you can't wait for London Fashion Week then be sure to attend Carnaby Catwalk being held on Saturday, September 11th. The event is meant to bring exposure to the brands, stores and design talent in the Carnaby area. There will be three runway shows being held on Carnaby Street--at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm--which will focus on key trends for fall and winter. After the show head to Barbour International's Foubert's Place store for style consultations and to browse the brand's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, which includes collaborations with designers Anya Hindmarch and Tokihito Yoshida along with traditional waxed and quilted Barbour jackets.
